It was a privilege for me to work with Art Director Deb Bishop and Editors Celia Barber and Jodi Levine who’s ideas packed the Kids magazine with creativity. They were young mothers themselves and their passions for Art Direction, writing and DIY crafting made a magazine that is still talked about today. Deb once told me that she looks for “graphic opportunities.” This was a magazine that celebrated hand-made for kids and often the type was hand-made too.
